Hi there, It's Miyavi from Small Wins, dropping in with our late-night newsletter. ππ (It's 11PM now in my timezone.)
Long time no see!
I've been really busy lately. And today, I would like to share with you two things:
1. The Small Wins NEW website is coming to life!
No new articles this week, folks.
Why? I've been pouring every spare moment into crafting my new official website. (When I'm not at my day job, of course!)
I wrestled with platform choices, even toyed with the idea of scrapping the website altogether.
But you know what?
I realized I craved a dedicated space.
A digital home for our articles and β get this β a potential hub for my Notion template store. So, WordPress it is!
Website building is really a rollercoaster of fun and frustration.
On one hand, I'm thrilled to be creating something from scratch.
On the other? It's a gauntlet of challenges to overcome.
But guess what? I'm making progress!
β
Bilingual (English & Traditional Chinese)
β
Template store up and running
β
Payment systems for both Taiwan and international customers
β
Customizable checkout pages
Can you feel the excitement?
The website's debut is just around the corner!
Oh, and did I mention we're rocking a sleek, minimalist design?
2. A fresh take on templates
Here's something interesting: Unlike in Taiwan, template creators abroad have been discussing: "the market feels saturated, so what's the next step?"
Now, you might think, "Why should I care about market saturation?"
But here's the thing β it's pushing us creators to dig deeper and ask:
What problems are people really trying to solve with Notion?
How can we offer solutions that go beyond just another template?
This shift in perspective?
It's going to shape Small Wins' future content.
Here's my grand plan: Let's move beyond just Notion know-how.
Let's create templates that aren't just... templates.
Instead, we'll tackle your challenges head-on.
For instance, you might be using Notion because you want to:
- Boost personal productivity
- Streamline departmental information management
- Master project management
Each of these needs comes with its own set of hurdles and hopes.
So, I'm on a mission to blend Notion's capabilities with other tools and methods, crafting holistic solutions that really work.
In this journey, I might discover that Notion is just one piece of the puzzle.
The real magic?
It's in building a comprehensive workflow or system that flexibly combines various tools and approaches to maximize efficiency and productivity.
So, what can you expect from Small Wins in the future?
Buckle up for:
- Notion strategies tailored to specific needs
- Clever integrations of Notion with other tools, methods, and knowledge
- Workflows for individuals and teams
Sounds like quite the adventure, doesn't it?
I'm still exploring, and I bet we'll stumble upon some fascinating discoveries along the way.
Ready to join the fun?
That's a wrap for this week's Small Wins update.
Until next time, keep winning those small obstacles!
Cheers,
Miyavi
